Experience the Rural Health Innovation Sprint
Join us for a unique and intense experience where you'll have the opportunity to drive real change in the Albury community. Over the course of the week, you’ll collaborate closely with fellow students, Albury City officials, and local business partners to tackle the critical challenge of fostering business innovation to enhance community resilience.
Throughout the sprint, you'll engage in a blend of hands-on activities that will sharpen your problem-solving, creativity, communication and teamwork skills. From brainstorming sessions to prototyping innovative solutions, you’ll learn how to take an idea from concept to reality. You’ll also gain invaluable experience working in interdisciplinary teams, learning how to communicate effectively, manage projects under tight deadlines, and adapt to feedback from mentors and community stakeholders.
This sprint isn't just about developing your professional skills—it’s about making a meaningful impact. Your efforts will contribute to real solutions that could strengthen the resilience of the Albury community. The experience will be demanding, and you'll need to bring your energy, creativity, and dedication, but the rewards will be substantial.
By the end of the week, you’ll have not only a deeper understanding of the challenges facing rural communities but also the satisfaction of knowing that your work has the potential to drive lasting positive change. This is your chance to grow, connect, and make a difference.
Here is a short video from the facilitator to give you a better understanding of what the week will look like.

Please answer the following questions

Now, we wont let just anybody in because we have every intention of creating three amazing teams with a diverse group of people. To do this I would like you to answer the following questions and then create a video introducing yourself. The video needs to be no longer than 3 minutes, you can present anything at all that you like in whatever style or approach that you like but your job is to convince me that you meet the following criteria.

Happy to work hard and excited to learn
A team player that enjoys the challenge of working with others
passionate about growing your skills and character
Different from the 100 other people that are applying

But the most important thing you need to show in your video is who you are. Be authentic, open and honest. don't pretend to be someone that you are not!!!
